Handsoap is the story of the city of Port Evergreen and the crazy people who live in it. Theo O'Maher is the inventor of Duelball, a popular game combining aspects of basketball, football, and combat sports. The popularity of Duelball allowed Theo to build his wealth and use it to gain influence throughout Port Evergreen.
The citizens of Port Evergreen and the players of the "Infinite Duelist League" maintain rocky relationships with Theo and his neurotic family: heir to the throne Schaunn, Daddy's girl Sceline (and her husband, the cold and cerebral Decker aka "DeeDee"), and young prodigal genius scientist Schuyler.
